About Lindsey

Hey there Friends,

My name is Lindsey Young, Colorado Native, Mom to two beautiful boys, Wife, French Bulldog fanatic, coffee enthusiast, animal lover and (YOUR) seasoned Realtor in the great state of Colorado! I have been successfully helping clients buy, sell, and invest in residential real estate in Colorado since 2012! I have spent over a decade excelling in the competitive landscape of the Denver Metro Real Estate Market and beyond, establishing a reputation with my clients and peers as a well-respected, problem solving and top-level service type of agent for my clients. My number one focus for EVERY transaction is my clients! I really try to provide a different level of service through genuine care of my clients wants, wishes, and needs with HONEST and through communication, attentive listening and always bringing the best possible solution or option every time! I have lived in Colorado all my life, born in 1986, grew up on the west side of town (Arvada/Wheat Ridge/Lakewood), I have lived as far north as Thornton and as far south as Pueblo. Life and love have brought me to the East side of our state where I currently reside (Aurora) about 2-3 Miles from Buckley Air Force Base So, I have been lucky to have knowledge of the Great Denver Metro Area and beyond! Although I may be bias, our state is truly one of a kind and its hard to choose what I love most about Colorado, but if I had to choose, I would say that I can truly appreciate the fact that we get to enjoy ALL the seasons here. From our winter wonderlands, rainy (or snowy) springtime, warm/hot summers and best of all our COLORFUL Colorado fall, you just get to feel and see it all here. Every season here has something fun to offer no matter where you are in our state! I have such a love and intimate connection to our state, an in-depth knowledge of the areas I serve and strong desire to share that with my clients who I’m helping to find their slice of Colorado HOME. I have built my business model through trial and tribulations really. Over the past decade plus, I have had time to really build my career from the ground up learning all the good, bad and everything in-between along the way. I can say everything that I have experienced, has given me not only in-depth knowledge and experience in the field, but growth into the agent I am today is because of true perseverance through the tough situations, difficult transactions or a volatile market is when I learned the most! When you choose Realtor, it matters HOW they are going to handle your purchase or sale, it matters their knowledge of the area or market, but what matters even more is HOW they will conduct themselves in navigating a tough or difficult situation and still get those positive results for the client and that is the agent I am proud to say I am today! I am confident that I for certain know how to work hard for each client with honest communication, dedication to success and upmost transparency, that I am YOUR best choice when it comes to choosing a realtor.

Now when it comes to knowledge and education, I will say that experience is the best teacher, but continuing education in this industry is also extremely important. Every year we are required to complete an Ethics and codes update course per Colorado law to make sure we are always up to date with the rules, regulations and any changes that would affect how we practice real estate in the state of Colorado. Beyond that I complete a minimum of 24 additional continuing education courses EVERY YEAR on ALL types of subjects surrounding real estate. Although this is above and beyond the state requirement my team and I feel it is the small things like this behind the scenes that help us bring that next level service and knowledge to the clients we serve! I have also completed a special designation course in military residential specialist! Being married to a retired veteran and have served 15+ military families in the past decade, my team and I know and understand the challenges military families may have, and we have prided ourselves on being that go to solution and help for those families and their unique needs and situations! Ending on a more personal note, outside of my love and passion for Real Estate I am blessed beyond belief in my personal life as well. I am married to my best friend (DeVon Young) and we have been doing this thing called like together since 2010! We have two beautiful boys (Devon Jr. aka DJ and Dominic), we are also parent to two amazing fur babies, (Sheldon & Penny) yes Frenchie’s of course. As I mentioned we live out near Buckley AFB in the burbs as my husband is a federal employee on base! As a family we LOVE spending time going to car shows (I love old muscle cars, ALL my boys love any and ALL things cars). We love spending time in the water weather it be a pool, water park, splash pad or any of our amazing reservoirs, if a swimsuit is involved, we are there! We also love to hike, and watch the kiddos play sports and enjoy all things outdoors this state has to offer. We really love to experience as much as we can regardless of the season, if it is a cool new show or play downtown, or 5280 Restaurant week, professional sports games, amusement parks, hiking trails, concerts, or holiday festivities we really try to teach our kids and ourselves that life is about experiences not things! I really LOVE my job and arguably love to work, but I also place a high value on my family time and living life to the fullest. I have experienced loss, trauma, and grief early in life and understood from a young age that the only thing we are never promised is TIME. So, I am always of the mind set I will work to live never live to work!! Its living life, experiencing new things, seeing new places, making memories and LOVE that I work for.
